Although I bought 2 pens and only use them occasionally, one of them has already broken within 4 years. It no longer makes a sound. I see this as superfluous environmental pollution, in addition to the many disposable stamps. Otherwise it works perfectly, just not for very long. Hence my new purchase. The other used one will probably be broken soon too, I fear.
